In my experience, the service is okay overall, but I’ve often found that the available cars are far away. It’s not a huge deal every time, but it can be inconvenient when I’m trying to get going quickly.

"Parking was surprisingly painless"
I’ve used car2go a few times now, and the parking is probably my favorite part. I didn’t have to search around for some weird approved garage or end up walking blocks after dropping the car off. I just found a legal spot nearby and that was it. Kind of makes you wonder why other services make this part so complicated. It definitely makes quick trips around the city a lot less annoying.

"Billing has been straightforward for me"
I’ve used car2go quite a few times now, and so far the billing has always been exactly what I expected. No surprise fees popping up later or weird charges that make you feel like something’s off. The app shows the price clearly, and based on that I’ve always had the impression they’re upfront about costs. that’s all I really need from a car-sharing app. Easy to use and no billing drama so far.

I got my refund back quickly and didn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops, which was a nice surprise. Funny how smooth things can be when they actually want them to be.

I’ve used car2go a few times now, and it’s just really convenient. I mean, you just find a car nearby, unlock it, drive where you need to go, and that’s it. It’s, it makes running errands way less of a hassle.

"Unlocking usually works, but I’d still appreciate an apology when it doesn’t"
I use car2go a few times a month, and the lock and unlock feature has been reliable for me. The app usually opens the car quickly, and when I end my trip it locks without leaving me wondering if it actually went through. There was one time it took maybe 10 extra seconds, which wasn’t a huge deal, but it did make me a little nervous. If there’s a delay like that, I do think a quick acknowledgement or apology from the app/company would be nice. Overall though, I’ve been happy with it.

My account got suspended out of nowhere, but support managed to fix it quickly. I’m glad it didn’t turn into a bigger hassle, but it was still a bit annoying at first. Has anyone else had the same thing happen?

"ID check took longer than expected"
Signing up was straightforward, but the ID check took longer than I thought it would. I had to send my licence photo again because it didn’t go through properly or something. It did get sorted in the end, just wasn’t the smoothest start for me.

Not gonna lie, I was a little annoyed when I saw the extra fees pop up. I reached out to support though, and they explained everything quickly, which helped a lot. In the end, it all worked out and I’m still happy with the experience

I’ve had to adjust my reservations a couple of times now, and it’s been super simple every time. The flexibility gave me a lot more confidence booking, because I knew I wasn’t stuck if something came up. It’s already saved me twice, and I really appreciate how hassle-free it is...

I’ve been using car2go mostly because there’s pretty much always a car somewhere close by, either near my place, work, or the train station. makes it easy when I need to get somewhere without turning it into a whole plan
The coverage is better than I thought it would be, even out in some of the outer neighborhoods. I usually don’t have to walk far, and for quick trips it’s just been super useful so far

I’ve used car2go a handful of times, and for the most part the cars have been fine to drive. I’m not expecting a spotless luxury rental or anything, but I do have a basic standard when I’m getting into a shared car, and the cleanliness has been inconsistent.
One car had old coffee cups in the door and crumbs all over the seats, which was off-putting. I know other users should clean up after themselves, but it would help if the cars were checked more often. Overall, not a terrible experience, just not as clean as I’d like.

"Signup worked, but I expected it to be smoother"
I signed up for car2go and everything did go through, so no major complaints there. I guess I just assumed the process would be a little more straightforward, especially since most apps follow the same basic signup flow now. The license check part wasn’t super clear to me, and I found myself kind of guessing what would happen next. It wasn’t bad, just took longer than I thought and felt average overall.

I used car2go a few times now and the cars was all clean, inside and out. No weird smells, the seats looked fine, and everything work like it should. One car had a small scratch, but it didn’t really bother me. For shared cars, I was expecting them to be worse, so it was actually a nice surprise.

I’m a bit picky about parking rules because I hate the stress of wondering if I’m going to get a ticket. With car2go, though, the info on the website was clear. It showed the parking area and the basic rules in a way that actually made sense. I still checked the street signs because that’s just me, but I didn’t feel confused like I have with a few other car share apps. Overall, it was a smooth experience

I’ve used car2go a handful of times, mostly when I’m running late or just don’t feel like dealing with buses. For quick trips, it’s been way cheaper than grabbing a taxi, at least for me. The app is easy to figure out, even when I’m half-paying attention, and I haven’t had any major problems so far.

"Fuel and charging has been easy for me"
I’ve been using car2go a few times a week, and the fuel and charging part has been one of the biggest perks for me. Compared to other car-sharing options I’ve tried or heard people complain about, this has felt way less stressful.
Most of the cars I grab already have enough charge or gas, and when they don’t, the app makes it obvious before I book. For quick errands or short trips, it just makes the whole thing easier than what a lot of people seem to deal with elsewhere...
